We all want success in all the different areas of our lives. I want to share with you today a very simple 4 step formula to use for success. I have used this formula in several different areas of my life to help me ensure success in my efforts.
I have found over the past years of using this formula that it helps to put your formula in writing. You must be ensuring it is detailed and precise with your steps and review it regularly. I have found it to be useful to review it weekly. It also helps to keep detailed notes of changes made along to way to help others if you wish to share your journey with others in the future.
Here are the four steps of my Personal Success Formula
STEP 1 – DECIDE CLEARLY WHAT YOU WANT FOR SUCCESS.
You must clearly and precisely decide on what success looks like in this area. Write down your goal/what your life in this will look like when you achieve this success. The more detailed you are in this description the more your mind can vision and work toward achieving this success. Remember Earl Nightingale’s statement in The Strangest Secret “You are now, and you do become, what you think about.” You want your mind to be able to envision success constantly and it will do the rest.
STEP 2 – TAKE ACTION ON SUCCESS ROADMAP.
You must first develop and write down specific steps and actions that you will take to achieve this success. These “action items” become your road map to the eventual goal of success that you described in step 1. The key to this step it YOU MUST TAKE ACTION on these action items for progress on the road to success.
STEP 3 – EVALUATE SUCCESSES AND FAILURES ALONG THE JOURNEY EVERY WEEK.
Every week carefully and honestly review your progress on your success roadmap. Write down your results to each action item. Decide if you need to continue the “action item” and if it is producing the outcome you thought it should to help you advance on the road of success.
STEP 4 – CHANGE YOUR APPROACH ON FAILURES AND TAKE ACTION ON THOSE CHANGES.
If there are action items that have not produced the outcome you thought, it would produce. You need to think creatively and “out of the box” to develop new “action points” to get to your intended outcome. If you are having difficulty in You must YOU MUST TAKE ACTION on these new or revised “action points” or nothing will be gained.
There are the four steps of my personal success formula. I want to see you succeed and flourish in life. Take Action and make your life the one you want it to be!
